2011 in Pictures

I have to say 2011 has been pretty good to me. Looking back at these photos, I almost can't believe I did so much in a single year. Since January, I've stood in every corner of the country (California, Washington, New York, Mississippi), and touched the ground in Iceland, Denmark, and Sweden. I survived my 10-year reunion without trying to avenge my youth. I covered 28 shows and a 30,000-person music festival for Melophobe.com. I interviewed a punk rock legend. I started a new job after four years at the previous one. With only a few days left in the year, I'm not quite ready to let 2011 go. So, to drag my feet a bit, I've compiled photos from some of my favorite moments of the past year. The events of these past 12 months are shifting into stories I'll tell for the rest of my life.

  4. A stunning year captured in charming photos of people you love with abandon. May 2012 equal this glorious 12 month period or perhaps even surpass it. A week from tomorrow you are desert bound. We're working on the weather.
