My Belle & Sebastian review went up on Melophobe this morning. You can find it here.
This week, like all weeks lately, has been incredibly busy. I had the show on Tuesday, and a cooking party on Wednesday, and somewhere in between I had to write the review. A minor nervy spaz ensued, but I got it all done. Tonight I needed to make a green bean salad for Ladies Rock Camp, which starts tomorrow morning. I'm super excited to see my friends from last year, and to meet all the new people, though I'm a bit terrified of the whole singing thing still. The weekend will be jam-packed with learning and fun activities, though, and I get to sing onstage at Satyricon at the end of it.
Folks who live in Portland should come watch my showcase on Sunday. It's at 3:00. Doors open at 2:30. The door fee is $5, which goes directly toward sending little girls to camp. You can't argue with a good cause.
I'll be documenting my rock camp experience for the far-away readers, though I may not post anything until next week sometime. For now, I'm off to pick out a semi-hip outfit for tomorrow and go to bed. Though I sometimes feel like my head is going to fall off, nothing makes me happier than a full dance card.
