Sweden Day Two

The main point of this post is that we are incredibly fortunate to have the gift of wonderful friends here in Sweden. I feel very welcomed and supported by everyone we know here. Though our visit is still just beginning, I know we will return to this place for many years to come.

This will be a short update because it is 3:30 in the morning and Bobby and I have kept poor PJ and Erica awake talking politics way too late. Highlights from today include:

+ Visiting the Malmö waterfont



+ Meeting Anna's boyfriend Dennis for the first time
+ Eating sandwiches on the pier
+ Seeing Sandy after her spa weekend
+ Visiting Dennis' record shop



+ Shopping in a Swedish grocery store



+ Eating dinner that PJ cooked
+ Drinking cider and chatting with the girls in the living room
+ Attending an experimental Glaswegian punk show at Folkets Park



+ Bobby taking the microphone and singing at that show



+ Bobby giving up on Swedish and ordering beer in Spanish with the Spanish bartender
+ Talking politics with Erica and PJ until 3:30 in the morning
