August birthdays

By some strange cosmic happenstance, three of my best friends were born in August. Fortunately their birthdays are evenly distributed throughout the month. Today is Lorien's birthday, and she was kind enough to let me take her to dinner at Laughing Planet. We had a fine evening of bike rides, delicious burritos, and a mini-marathon of movies about high school (Romy & Michele's High School Reunion and Pump Up the Volume).
