I got my mother to start a blog. I hope she uses it. It took minimal arm-twisting on my part, with some added arm-twisting from Weatherly. Go team peer pressure! Email me if you want to read it.
I also signed up for Ladies Rock Camp! I'll be going for vocals this time, despite the fact that, to quote Sookie Stackhouse, I couldn't carry a tune if I had a bucket with a lid on it. But, as I say with karaoke, what I lack in talent, I make up for in stage presence. Plus, it's my last chance to perform at Satyricon before they shut it down. Again. Not to mention that Ladies Rock Camp is the greatest thing ever. If you are a lady and have ever considered attending, I strongly encourage you to do so. I'll post details about the performance as it approaches, but it'll be on Sunday October 24th if you like to mark your calendar in advance.
Here, courtesy of Kelly, is the video of my band, Dollywould's performance last year. That's Laura on vocals, Cathy on bass, and Heidi on drums. We wrote a song about a t-rex.
