A wedding, two receptions, and a rooftop deck

Yesterday, Bobby, Britt, and I trucked it out to someplace east of Oregon City to attend a wedding. The ceremony was short, which is the way I like my weddings. The bridesmaids had on tasteful and flattering royal purple dresses, and Stephanie (my coworker) looked quite nice.

After enjoying the reception for a while, the three of us headed downtown to hang out with some folks on the roof of Chris' building. Photo shamelessly pilfered from Brandon.

There was a wedding reception going on in the little room up there, and people tried to convince us to crash it, since we were dressed in wedding-appropriate attire. I snuck in, but quickly crept back out. A couple hours later, the bride invited us in to help eat the leftover cake and other treats. Win-win! They had pineapple upside-down cake, and Bobby nabbed a bunch of cheese. It felt like I was back in my college days, when my friends and I would lurk around the conventions and meetings going on at Porter College and steal eclairs and orange juice when the tables were unattended. The administration cut down our trees to make science buildings, so we swiped their pastries. Fair's fair.

This morning I got a text from Tara that said, "I need to go to Sephora." She knows every time she sends me that message, I will always go with. Off to buy some makeup!
