I'll follow the sun

The weather seemed a bit iffy this morning, but Bobby, Tara, Brandon, Kim and I made our way to the Sandy River. Unlike last weekend, which became jam-packed with Greshamites and their big ill-behaved dogs midway through the day, there was almost nobody there. Plus, the clouds quickly gave way to sunshine and warm weather. We had an excellent time splashing around in the water, eating sandwiches on the shore, and hanging out in the sunshine.

Brandon and Kim brought a boat, and they let me float around in it for a while.



I wasn't very good at paddling, though, so I had to walk back to shore.



After several hours in the sunshine, we decided to ford the river and head for home. We did not lose any oxen.



Bobby points us in the direction of Kim's car, while pretending to discover something.



Had delicious food from Burgerville, watched Mad Men and True Blood (which ended 10 minutes early. What the heck, HBO?). Now I'm very tired and will be heading to bed shortly.
