Frustrating afternoon

I had a fine time at Bobby's family reunion this morning, but now that I'm home, things have started to go awry.

The dress I intended to wear this evening won't zip (sidenote to Weatherly, how would you like a lovely new dress?), I can't find proper shoes for the backup dress, and I just broke the strap from my favorite summer dress, pictured below, that I put on as a third backup. Also I stubbed my toe on the Ikea stepstool that was stuck behind the couch for some reason. Boooooo hiss, Saturday afternoon!



I'm hoping that some karaoke and fine company for Brandon's birthday will cure what ails me. Off to try on yet another dress.
